Event Details

On Monday night, Los Angeles Magazine won two prestigious prizes at the National Magazine Awards, including a General Excellence honor and one for feature writing. On Thursday, come hear Editor Mary Melton talk about what it takes to put the publication together, and how she makes Los Angeles stand out from the crowd. She will discuss how she and her staff select stories, what they’re looking for when putting together an issue, and what kind of magazine they want Los Angeles to be now and in the future. Doors open at 7 p.m.
